Comment:
Heterodera egg - 87 x 37 microns (vary from 82-120x 24-42 microns). These eggs of plant nematodes are accidently ingested or contaminate water or food and are harmless spurious infections. They are thin shelled, elongate-ovoid with rounded ends and may be flattened on one side. These parasitic nematodes are commonly in the roots and stems of edible plants like radishes, turnips. (cf Hookworm egg- 56-75 microns x 36-40 microns, oval with broadly rounded ends and have a clear space between the devloping embryo and the thin egg shell.).
